Getting Started - Undergraduate Research

Want to get involved in research? This workshop will discuss how to expand your academic experience through undergraduate research.

Summer Research Academy

Each summer the Office of Undergraduate Research sponsors the Summer Research Academy (SRA) for two and a half days during which undergraduate students from UCF and incoming transfer students from community colleges:

  • Learn about the nature of university research
  • Meet with research faculty and other students active in research at UCF
  • Learn about research opportunities available to undergraduate students at UCF
  • Earn one credit for work before, during, and after the academy at no cost

 

Whether students’ interests lie in the hard and applied sciences, the social sciences, business or the humanities, SRA has something to offer.  SRA Scholars receive 1 summer credit and free housing (if needed) during the academy.
