The L.E.A.R.N. program has two different cohorts.You must apply to the program for which you are eligible in order to be considered.

F-L.E.A.R.N. T-L.E.A.R.N.
Eligibility The F-LEARN program was founded in 2011 and is particularly for First Time in College (FTIC) students entering University of Central Florida (UCF) in the summer or fall semesters after high school.

Students who apply to this program should be currently finishing up high school and applying to UCF.

The T-LEARN program was founded in 2016 and is for transfer students entering UCF in the summer or fall semesters.

Students who apply to this program should be finishing an Associate of Arts degree from a state college and applying to UCF.

Number of Students 28 students 22 students
Living F-LEARN all live on-campus together in Hercules Community Residence Hall T-LEARN does not have to live on campus, but students have the option to join the Transfer Connections LLC
Research Apprenticeship with a Graduate Research Mentor in a research lab at UCF

(academic year: fall and spring, 12 weeks for 3 hours each week)
Students will find a Faculty Mentor in the spring semester
